Ms Emma Brooke – Chief Executive Officer
Emma Brooke joined the board of United Way South Australia June 2014, and is an avid supporter of Not-For-Profit Organisations since moving to Adelaide in 2013. Emma was the Executive Chairman for United Way SA for 8 months prior to taking the CEO role.
Through Emma’s retail, and banking/finance management career before children, Emma worked as a Bank Manager with ANZ through different regions on The Gold Coast and Sydney. A large amount of this time spent leading people and their careers, as well as building a strategy for customers that made sense to their financial goals. Being no stranger to diversity, Emma has spent several years at ANZ trying to make a difference around specific issues surrounding diversity, with particular focus on gender, cultural and age based diversity. Some of her work included a duration of time in arguably one of the most culturally diverse areas of Sydney, Lakemba.
Through Emma’s management career, she also built experience through roles in Lending, Financial Planning, outside of the Retail banking Segment. Emma obtained a Management Certificate in Business in 2007 from L.M.A, and also holds a Certificate III in Financial Services from Deakin in 2002.

Kerry is community focused having begun her volunteering in the community at 12 years old. She has a positive energy which she has brought to United Way and driven the success of the United We Read pilots and overseen the launch of the Read Aloud, Every Child Every Day initiative.
As a parent of 3 children Kerry is passionate about the value of reading to children and the subsequent platform that this will provide to a child’s education and therefore support that child to reach for their individual potential. Kerry’s work history has seen her work as a change leader and driver of successful and profitable business outcomes and community support programs. Additionally, Kerry has broad experience in managing staff, volunteers and program delivery for children.
Kerry holds a Bachelor of Science.
